Aaaaaaahhh!!!!!!! crumbling, wet subfloor. The smell is unreal!
This was totally our fault though, because we decided to try peel and stick tiles in our haste to get it done a couple years ago. Rookie mistake and we will never use peel and stick again.

oh my goodness. you guys have a lot of work ahead of you... Have you considered a property manager? Some of my landlord friends have them and they sound pretty reasonable.

I like the smooshed heads photo. I'm scared to peel up the floor on the upstairs bathroom of my house (circa 1849). I know there is damage. Luckily one of my brothers puts down floors for a living.
